Why do I feel isolated when playing the piano?

Isolation. Pianists can feel isolated because the piano is such a self-sufficient instrument. These aren’t unfixable problems, though. To develop a good ear, actively listen to lots of music, gain a deep understanding of chords and harmony, and learn how to play by ear.

Why do I learn piano?

How long should I practice to play songs?

If you just want to play your favorite songs and have fun, practicing 15 minutes a day will allow you to progress. Of course, in general, the more you practice, the faster you’ll improve. But practicing is less about putting in the hours and more about honing the right skills.

What is the time signature?

The time signature consists of two numbers at the beginning of the staff. The top number tells you how many beats there are per measure (a measure section of music enclosed by bar lines). The bottom number tells you what note value takes one beat.
